The Scalded Dawg has been serving up delicious food all over downtown Birmingham, Gardendale and surrounding areas since Tom retired in 2024.
He often joked after a bad day at work and said, ‘Well I’m just going to get fed up and go sell hot dogs on the street!’.
No one at work really knew just how serious he was about the idea, but anyone that knew Tom well understood his life-long obsession with cooking. He brings that enthusiasm to every event we cater.
